Thursday

EOTO, Break Science & Lynch tonight!

A night of side projects, trip-hop, drum&bass and jam&funk..

10:30 pm
EOTO- Percussionist and drummer from The String Cheese Incident, Jason Hann and Michael Travis are back at Sullivan Hall tonight with their breakbeat trip hop project EOTO. What makes an EOTO performance so special is that every set is 100% improvised-- meaning they create the music, record, mix and remix live on the spot.

Experiencing Hann and Travis perform in EOTO is much different than seeing them in SCI. Hann is on the drum kit, percussion and sampler, and Travis plays the tonal elements of the music bass, guitar, keys and live mixing.

This will be a night full of exceptional talent, featuring various side projects and collaborations, and definitely a good night for the dancing crowd. Check out these bands early...

9:00pm
Break Science, one of the funk/jazz/hip hop drummer Adam Deitch's latest brainchild. The band features NY based musicians, sidemen and producers of bands like the Fugees, G-Unit, and Matisyahu. Break Science describes the music as trip-hop, broken beat, dub, drum & bass & hiphop.

8:00pm
Lynch returns! Lynch features Jim Loughlin of moe. on drums. The band describes themselves as being a result of friendships formed in upstate NY's jam scene over drink tickets, double bills and the love of James Brown, Jimi Hendrix and the Beastie Boys. Jam/Funk/Hip Hop kicks off the night.
