Benny Gilbert @ Sunnys Redhook

I was playing music at Sunny's tonight and there was an incredible musician passing through town, Benny Gilbert. He may be the best overall musician I had come across in a long while, and there are a lot of amazing musicians around Redhook/Park Slope/Brooklyn. I backed him up on slide for a little bit and let me tell you, it sounded so sweet. The room was hypnotized, he travels a lot but is based out of MN and NY. He made the hipsters in the room heads explode! Here is just some random video on him, I think it's all that's really out there, and doesn't really do justice.
