Nina is a friend of the family and also in this amazing band, she is playing Friday at Sullivan Hall BE THERE. She went to Wesleyan, the same school as MGMT and the band is already WAY better. they're gaining momentum FAST and it will only be a matter of time before they are touring with Soulive and playing Bonnaroo.


Birthed from a shared cab-ride back from JFK, Heylady is a soul/funk/pop/rock sonic explosion based in Brooklyn, NY. Fronted by the earthy, soulful voice of Nina Zeitlin (featured on NBC News, The Daily Show), Heylady consists of keys player and composer Dave Cohen (Bugg Juice, Throwback, Steak This Thick), guitarist/dj/producer Josh Green (jG, Andrew May and Josh Green, Cellardoor), drummer Daniel Gould (Deadspin), and percussive vocalist Micah Shapiro (The Young Dads, Hurra Kam Rada, Throwback, Steak This Thick). With collective experience older than your grandfather, Heylady is here to take the East Coast by storm.
