Allman Brother 3/26/09

These are the first two entire albums, the show last night was strait up Allman Brothers, and featured Otiel Burbridge Prominently. He played great bass/scatting solo doing his Peacemakers front man thing, then hopped on the drums, collaborating with the three other drummers in the band. Gregg was extra soulful and though looked kind of sick, had a divine sage like presence to him tonight. there was definitely something big going on here.... check out my review coming up on jambase that I am going to finish by Sunday. This one was so special, it will write itself. afterwards i made a quick stop to sullivan hall to check out a glimpse of krasno and chapter two, special guests came later on...

Check out what Hidden Track, has to say about the Allman Brothers Beacon run show.

In honor of one of my top 5 favorite bands since high school, and definitely my current greatest inspiration here is me playing, "GDTRFB" in open G slide and "When There Wud No Crawfish". and Midnight Bull Dog I have this tune dto a banjo with an extra string it is the Banjo/slideguitar

I was there, too! When Black-Hearted Woman came on, I had a feeling they were going to play the whole thing. Then, of course, when they came back out for Revival, you knew it was going to be the whole thing. Fantastic show.
