More pictures and video to come, along with a review, this was just another summer festival, but with an older crowd, and GD influences. Slightly less golden God worship of rockstars and more of a community living art approach, where there was more audience participation and barrier between artist and fan. While Vibes invaded and pretty much overtook the entire city of Bridgeport, with yellow school buses full of Vibers clogging the streets, the Newport Folk Festival, was in full swing, inlcuding performances by Trey Anastasio, the live stream of Anastasio at the Newport Folk Fest can be heard on NPR and minute now.
