A Body was found at McCarrion Park Pool, at 10 a.m. July 16, 2008. The pool once served the surrounding community and was drained to become the newest, most popular and hippest venue in hipster epicenter of Brooklyn NYC


the unidentified body who took a Death Cab for Cuties was found by park workers who told police of "a foul odor coming from a shed at the pool for months." Reportedly they found the body while retrieving equipment from the shed. It's uncertain how long the body has been decomposing for. the night before the body was found a production of Twelve Ophelias, a play centered around Hamlet's Ophelia coming back to life, was staged there; the night before there was a screening of The Virgin Suicides. Multiple calls to the Precinct have gone unanswered, though upon finding the body the park workers asked "could I have his record collection?" The park workers suspected the body had died while still waiting in line to get a beer"

the pool has recently hosted such popular acts as The Brazilian Girls, the Ting Tings, DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist and the Breeders.
